Finally here!

Greetings from Vancouver, BC, Canada!

So, I arrived here the day before yesterday, the 29th of August. The flight was ok..12 hours in total. I've been watching some movies and thought about what's going to happen when I first meet my new family...Someone told me, that I shouldn't have any expectations about my family. And he was right! I got surprised, that I have such a nice and friendly hostfamily :)

The only problem is, that I'm still very jetlagged...the time change is 9 hours, so I'm getting tired very early and wake up at about 4 AM. crap.

But when my day finally starts, it keeps getting better and I forget that I'm tired, cause everything is quite different here.

So, today I had part 1 of my orientation for vancouver school board. We made a tour of Vancouver. Outside. In total rain. Hm..but although the rain was a little annoying, I had a great day with great people from all around the world! Tomorrow I'm going to have part 2 of the orientation...Tomorrow I have my controlled assessments, that match me to the right class-level. I'll have to get up very early tomorrow, that's why I gotta finish my post now.

Okay so that was my Vancouver Update for today. I'm getting very tired again...even if it's just about 6 PM :D
